What is Compounding and What kind of Prescriptions Can be Compounded? 

 

Compounding is the art and science of creating personalized medicine. It all starts with a problem: the child who can't swallow pills, the patient with a gluten allergy, the much-needed drug that's in short supply. A compounding pharmacy is able to provide a solution. The preparation of compounds requires education and training in compounding techniques and premium quality ingredients. Specialized equipment is required and not usually available in most pharmacies. In cooperation with physicians, our compounding specialists can adjust the dosage of the chosen medication according to the height/weight of the patient, their absorption ability or their potential sensitivities/allergies. Yes we do! We are a full-service pharmacy that fills all your regular prescriptions that you would get from any community pharmacy.

 

Do I have to live in Burlington to use Clearpoint's Services? 

 

We offer free delivery throughout the GTA.  If you would like to have your prescription filled at our pharmacy, you can either fax, email us your prescription, or send us your prescription through our website.
